Dear members and other passionate-carbon people,

The venue for our ZCMA Drinks Meeting on October 4th is the relatively new, charming “Café des Amis” just a little North of Limmatplatz, or South of Kafi Schnaps. Easily accessible from the city center via bus 46 (from HB).

We look forward to seeing you there to discuss the latest news and anecdotes over some drinks.

Please join us for a ZCMA Drinks Meeting on June 15nd, 2011 (we moved the originally announced date (22nd) since on that day our member organisation myclimate will hold its summer party, to which all climate guys and girls are kindly invited.

We will meet at 7pm at the Bar “Terrasse” at Bellevue (Limmatquai 3; see google map provided).

If the weather is nice, we enjoy the early summer evening on the terrace outside, and keep us updated about the latest market news (and gossip) from Barcelona to Bonn.

On August 31 2011, starting from 5pm,  the Zürich CMA is inviting you to a workshop on the Voluntary Carbon Markets,  followed by informal drinks.

There will be opportunities to ask a few questions after every presentation, and time set aside for a general Q&A session and discussion after the last speaker.

One year after the foundation of our Association we held our Annual General Meeting 2011 on March 31st.

Axel provided an overview of past achievements as well as learnings and sketched out plans for the future. Inputs from the assembled members were gathered and are encouraged at any time. Reflection of this increased member involvement and interaction is also (this) new website, and the option it provides to all members to share and discuss interesting publications, burning questions as well as to announce events worth attending. Also, the Board of the ZCMA was re-elected for another term.

The General Meeting was succeeded by a workshop on “NAMA – financing, design and monitoring”.
